Privacy Policy

Argon Aerospace LLC respects personal privacy and is committed to keeping data practices simple, limited, and transparent. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled when people visit the website, contact the company, or use any software or mobile applications offered by Argon Aerospace LLC.

This policy is written for a business that conducts research and development in aerospace, chemistry, engineering, and related software and app development. It is intended to describe current practices as accurately as possible. Public privacy disclosures should be truthful and should match real-world practices, because misleading privacy statements can create legal risk under Section 5 of the FTC Act and similar state consumer protection laws.[web:7][web:10]

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

- The Argon Aerospace LLC website.

- Any web-based tools, mobile applications, or software products operated by Argon Aerospace LLC.

- Direct communications sent to or from the company through website forms, email, or similar channels.

It does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, or other external services that may have their own privacy notices and practices.

2. Core privacy approach

Argon Aerospace LLC is designed to minimize data collection. In general, the company does not sell personal information, does not profile users for advertising, and does not intentionally collect more information than is reasonably necessary to operate its website, respond to inquiries, or make its apps function as intended.

Where possible, services are designed so that personal information is not required at all. If information must be processed to provide a requested function, only the minimum information reasonably necessary for that purpose is intended to be used and retained.

3. Information the company may receive

 A. Website visits

Argon Aerospace LLC does not intentionally collect personal information from ordinary website visitors unless a visitor chooses to provide it, such as by sending an email or submitting a contact form.

Like most websites, the company’s web host, content delivery providers, or basic server infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information in server logs, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referral URL, requested pages, and timestamps, for basic site delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security.

At present, Argon Aerospace LLC does not use website visitor data for behavioral advertising, sale of personal information, or cross-site tracking.

B. Communications sent by users

If a person contacts Argon Aerospace LLC by email, website form, or other direct communication method, the company may receive information such as:

- Name.

- Email address.

- Company or organization name.

- The contents of the message.

- Any files, attachments, or other information voluntarily included.

That information is used only to review, respond to, and manage the communication, and to maintain any related business record that is reasonably necessary.

C. App-related information

If a person uses one of the company’s apps, Argon Aerospace LLC may receive limited information that is made available through Apple’s developer and App Store systems. Apple states that developers must disclose their privacy practices for App Store submissions, and developers are responsible for the data collection and tracking behavior of any code included in their apps.

Apple also states that developers may receive certain non-personal or privacy-enhanced information, including aggregated usage information where users opt in, as well as receipt or subscription-related reporting in some cases.

Argon Aerospace LLC’s intent is to use only the information that is strictly necessary to make an app work, maintain functionality, provide user-requested support, process purchases or subscriptions where applicable, prevent abuse, and fix defects.

Depending on the app, examples of limited information that may be processed include:

- Technical diagnostic information needed to identify crashes, failures, or compatibility problems.

- Basic account or transaction status information needed to confirm access to purchased features, subscriptions, or entitlements.

- Information a user intentionally enters into the app, but only to the extent necessary for the requested function.

- Minimal device or session-level information needed for security, fraud prevention, or service operation.

Argon Aerospace LLC does not sell app user data and does not use app data for third-party targeted advertising.

4. Information not intentionally collected

Except where required for a specific feature, legal obligation, or security need, Argon Aerospace LLC does not intentionally collect:

- Sensitive personal information beyond what a user directly chooses to provide.

- Precise geolocation data.

- Contacts, photos, microphone input, camera input, or similar device data unless a particular app feature clearly requires it and the user grants permission.

- Personal information for data brokerage, resale, or behavioral advertising.

- Cross-app or cross-website tracking data.

If a future product requires collection of additional data, the company should update this policy and any platform disclosures before that practice begins. Apple requires developers to describe app privacy practices, including third-party SDK data collection, in App Store Connect for app submissions and updates.[page:2]

5. How information is used.

Any information received by Argon Aerospace LLC may be used only for limited business purposes such as:

- Operating, delivering, and securing the website or apps.

- Responding to messages, questions, and support requests.

- Troubleshooting, debugging, and improving reliability.

- Verifying purchases, subscriptions, or app entitlements.

- Preventing fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or misuse.

- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing applicable terms.

No personal information is sold. No personal information is knowingly disclosed for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Legal basis and consent.

To the extent privacy laws apply, Argon Aerospace LLC generally relies on one or more of the following grounds for processing limited personal information:

- Consent, when a person voluntarily submits information or grants a permission.

- Performance of a requested service, such as responding to an inquiry or enabling an app feature.

- Legitimate interests, such as maintaining security, functionality, and basic business operations.

- Compliance with legal obligations.

Where consent is required by law for a particular activity, the company intends to request it through the appropriate channel, such as device permissions or in-app prompts.

7. Sharing of information

Argon Aerospace LLC does not sell personal information.

Argon Aerospace LLC does not share personal information with third parties except when reasonably necessary for limited operational purposes, such as:

- Website hosting or infrastructure.

- Email delivery or support processing.

- Cloud storage or backend functionality.

- Payment processing, app subscription management, or app distribution through Apple.

- Security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Any such sharing is intended to be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service. For apps, Apple notes that developers are responsible for third-party code included in their apps and must describe the data practices of those SDKs or services where applicable.[page:2]

8. Apple and App Store services

Apps distributed through Apple’s App Store are also subject to Apple’s own privacy practices. Apple explains that it collects and uses App Store information for functions such as delivering downloads, purchases, recommendations, fraud prevention, and store improvement, and that developers may receive some aggregated usage data and certain purchase-related reporting.[page:1]

As a result, when a user downloads, purchases, or uses an Argon Aerospace LLC app through Apple’s ecosystem, some information may be processed by Apple independently under Apple’s own policies. Users should review Apple’s privacy disclosures to understand Apple’s role.

9. Data retention

Argon Aerospace LLC aims to retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, including to:

- Respond to a message or request.

- Maintain essential business or technical records.

- Provide an app function or verify a purchase.

- Detect or investigate security incidents or misuse.

- Comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, or contractual requirements.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, the company intends to delete it, de-identify it, or securely limit further use, subject to technical and legal constraints.

10. Data security

Argon Aerospace LLC seeks to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the limited information it handles. FTC guidance reflected in legal commentary emphasizes that businesses should have reasonable and appropriate procedures to prevent unauthorized access, detect vulnerabilities, and support security review and investigation.[web:7]

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

Argon Aerospace LLC does not currently use cookies or similar technologies for targeted advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling.

The website may use only those cookies or technical mechanisms that are reasonably necessary for basic site functionality, security, load balancing, or similar operational purposes. If analytics, preference cookies, or advertising technologies are added later, this Privacy Policy should be updated before those tools are used.

12. Children’s privacy

Argon Aerospace LLC’s website and apps are not directed to children. The company does not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that would trigger legal obligations under applicable children’s privacy laws without appropriate notice and consent. If your child is interested in Argon Aerospace's products to any degree, such child is either precocious or dull - perhaps both. Seek medical attention accordingly.

13. International users

Argon Aerospace LLC is based in the United States. If a person accesses the website or apps from outside the United States, any information they provide may be processed in the United States or in other jurisdictions where service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

14. User rights and choices

Depending on the user’s location and applicable law, a person may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or limitation of certain personal information. As we don't collect any information, we don't have any to delete.

To make a privacy request, users may contact Argon Aerospace LLC using the contact information listed below. The company may need to verify the request before taking action.

15. Nevada, California, and similar state disclosures

Because Argon Aerospace LLC does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in this policy, any state-law opt-out rights relating to sale or sharing are not expected to apply to the company’s current practices.

If state privacy laws apply in the future and the company’s practices change, this section should be updated to reflect those rights and any required methods for submitting requests.

16. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to those signals, Argon Aerospace LLC does not currently promise that it will respond to every browser-based Do Not Track signal in a particular way.

However, the company’s current practice is not to use website visitor data for targeted advertising or cross-site tracking as described in this policy.

17. Changes to this policy

Argon Aerospace LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in business operations, legal requirements, technology, or product functionality.

When material changes are made, the company may revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the website, the relevant app, or another reasonable method.
